Zachary Dean of Mary Queen
of the World School
Participates in National NHL Junior Hockey Skills Competition!!!!!
Zachary Dean, a grade three student at Mary Queen of the World School, finished an astonishing 3rd overall in the National Canadian Tire NHL Junior Skill Competition.
Zachary hit all 5 targets in the shooting accuracy in 11.797 seconds;
hit all 4
targets in the passing accuracy in 23.121 seconds; completed the
fastest skater
competition in 10.883 seconds and he did the puck agility in 25.34
seconds.
Amazing results! Way to go Zach!
For finishing in the top five for the Novice category in Canada,
Zachary has
won a trip to Ottawa to participate in the National Skills competition
held on
the Rideau Canal January 28, 2012. He also has won 2 tickets to the
2012 NHL
Skills Competition and the 2012 NHL All Star game that is held in
Ottawa that
same weekend.
Please join us in congratulating Zachary for his accomplishments thus
far and
wish him the best of luck in the National competition in Ottawa!!!!
